This modernization of San Pedro High School is bringing new high-performance learning opportunities in state-of-the-art classrooms, culinary arts, science labs and specialized spaces for band, woodshop and many more programs. A new administrative wing and dining services are also included. Seismic retrofit and major modernization of historic buildings will occur in many of the buildings that will remain. When completed, the campus will also feature a new drop-off/main entrance, outdoor learning spaces, new parking lots, tennis courts and sustainable landscaping. Interim facilities are being provided to maintain learning environments during phases of construction and will be removed prior to project completion.
