The John C. Fremont High School Redevelopment Project was built in three phases to minimize impacts to the school. This LEED Gold-certified project’s scope of work included the demolition of existing facilities and portables, modernization of the classroom and administration buildings and the gymnasium, and the construction of a new two-story kitchen, cafeteria and library building. It also involved a new, fully automatic fire alarm system with central station. Reporting is performed from the central station, which covers the entire campus and conforms to all pertinent codes, regulations and LAUSD performance requirements.
