Foshay Learning Center
Fully regulated by DSA, the Foshay Learning Center Seismic Modernization Project was constructed on an active campus.
This revitalized campus effort resulted in a major improvement to the quality of all impacted learning environments. The project involved the construction of a new 60,600-square foot, three-story, Type II-B classroom building featuring state-of-the-art science classrooms, a new 10,000-square foot music building, and removal of relocatable buildings to recapture additional outdoor space for learning and physical activity. The replacement of aging and underutilized shop buildings at several high schools allowed for new CTE facilities to meet the educational needs of the current programs. Pinner also made improvements to the campus including: a new transformer, walkways, utilities, campus-wide landscapes, and accessibility enabling access for all students, staff and faculty.
